As you travel through this area, you'll see waterfalls, which are over 700 feet high. Many filmmakers have used this dramatic scenery for films such as Raiders of the Lost Ark. The most popular resort along the southern coast is Poipu Beach, which has long stretches of golden sand. See the coconut coast and the north shore near Princeville. It's so impressive, that when they made the movie "South Pacific', they filmed it here.
